Purple Rocks

The Purple Rocks are a small archipelago of islands to the north of Lost Hope.
Most of the islands are small, rocky, barren and uninhabited. Only the largest, Mulmar, has a sizeable settlement, the town of Tertona. The Rocklanders who live there don’t receive many visitors, or trade much with the other island kingdoms, but they are renowned as skilled shipwrights and fisherfolk.
The Purple Rocks live at the mercy of far harsher sea storms than those on the mainlands. Under these stormy skies, the islands acquire a dark, purplish hue, and it is this feature they are named for.
