Keylands
The low, rolling hills around the city of Keymouth and Eastcliff are known as the Keylands. They are a scene of pastoral beauty, with huge fields of wheat, corn, maize and barley blowing in the gentle sea winds. Huge vineyards grow deep red grapes used in the manufacture of Keyvine on the sunny hillsides.
Long narrow canals, that have been dug out from the city, reach many miles into the Keylands, offering both easy transport for people and goods and irrigation for the farmlands. They are criss-crossed with small wooden bridges, and around the edges of the fields are many small hamlets and farmsteads.
The grazing cattle and harvested crops from the Keylands keeps the Empire fed.
