River Linnet

Flowing down from the barren highlands around the Painted Pool, the Linnet River is a fast-flowing, icy cold alpine river that flows eastwards, down across the meadows towards Stormbreaker Bight. It is some 140 miles in length.
The river is not suitable for watercraft, at least as far downstream as Linnet Spinney, though even past the woodland it remains a treacherous watercourse, with many rapids and falls along the route.
East of the Spinney the river forms the northern boundary of the Cerulean Territories.
The Linnet is sometimes referred to as the White River, due to the amount of foam and spray caused by it's flowing waters.
