Cognitive Code
Cognitive code is the idea that one's metaphysical existence can be equated to a string of code, and can be rewritten wherever necessary. Flaws in an otherwise perfect species can be willed out of existence, by simply removing and rewriting imperfect code.
This code is based in technomancy, a field of magic that combines the wonders and divine elements of both technology and magic, bridging the gap between two major forces of the Yonderverse.
Symbols & Synchronicity

Cognitive code is built on approximately seventeen trillion symbols. Each one responds to a unique aspect of reality, time, space, magic, birth, and decay, basic building blocks of all life in the Yonderverse. When quadrillions of these symbols are put together in a metaphysical space, an immense flow of life-giving energy channels through which allows for an organism to be born.
How said organism is born is irrelevant - all cognitive code is useful for is to determine the traits of an organism. Cognitive code is equivalent to DNA and its variants, and all work in harmony with one another.
Rewriting Cognitive Code
Rewriting this complex technomagical language requires incredible physical and mental forte. Very few technomancers have successfully visualised cognitive code, let alone rewrite it.
Those with the power to visualise cognitive code must then learn to comprehend the trillions of symbols. After that, one must learn how to rewrite the code, so incredibly dangerous that one wrong move and your existence may crumble and snap. Many have lost their lives trying to wield such power, only those skilled enough prevailing.
Notable Technomancers
The One
The One, as he called himself, believed in creating the perfect species. Before dabbling in technomancy he was a genetic engineer, tampering with DNA. His personal discovery of cognitive code led him on a much darker path, one that destroyed countless civilisations and planets. His conquest came to an end after he encroached on the Galanti Cluster's territory, and was annihilated by the Galanti League.Pasau Sakauri
While learning technomancy was no mistake to this man, discovering cognitive code in a dusty textbook in an abandoned primordial library by the Edge Of The Yonderverse was purely an accident. Pasau rewrote his own cognitive code to grant him immortality, omnipotence, and omnipresence. He discovered this to be a curse, rather than a blessing.Technomancy

This is particularly excellent, even by your standards.
