Wigglejiggle
Anatomy
Wigglejiggles are a herbaceous, perennial plant species that grow up to three metres tall. They are entirely green, with a thick green stem that grows to about 4cm in diameter, while thirty leaves grow equally up the stem to the very tip of the plant. Underneath each individual leaf are three large seed sacs, which jingles when wind blows.
The roots of wigglejiggles are thin, emerging from the surface of the ground in adults and reach up to seven metres underground. The roots are fleshy, protruding from a large singular rhizome which grows about ten metres underground.
Their leaves are long and spongy, ranging from a metre in length at the base of the stem to ten centimetres at the very tip of the plant. The veins of the leaves grow outwards, curling inwards, while the lamina is a heart shape, the tip of the leaf curving upwards pointing to the sky.
Distribution & Habitat
Wigglejiggles can be found in light blue and teal biomes, predominantly in the Ecela Plains and the Unuth Glitter Forest. Wigglejiggles have also been seen occasionally in the Teal Umbrella Forest of Unuth, and have been introduced into the Gala Reien of Eudan.
Variants of wigglejiggles more accustomed to warmer temperatures can be found in the Zcarazas Plains and the Unuth Orange Forest, and the outskirts of the Unuth Red Desert. They grow fairly dotted about and do not tend to group together, however when soil is more nutritious they can grow closer together. Wigglejiggles typically grow no closer than three metres away from each other, making them a difficult plant to look after in larger quantities.
Initially I thought this was some type of alien dance, lol. What a surprise that it's a plant.
