Unuth Orange Desert
The Unuth Orange Desert is a large arid region in northwestern Unuth. It is a hot, dry region, with a very sparse population of slimes in remote villages dotted around the area's outskirts.
This desert region isn't inhabited due to the abundance of rainbow worms. These subterranean titans can plough through entire towns in a single bite. Thankfully, they primarily roam around the bottom of the planet's Crust.
Geography, Location & Climate
The desert is a predominantly flat region, with small plateaus around the border between the Unuth Red Desert and the Dragon Forest. Temperatures sit around 45 - 52 degrees Celsius in the daytime, dropping to the low teens at night. The region receives very little rainfall, and only one river cuts through the biome.
Strong breezes drag sand from this desert across the Osao Ocean, into the Ecela Plains and Blubber Dun. All three regions have similar coastlines in terms of geology, as a result of this migrating sand and soil.
Ecology

Most of the Orange Desert's inhabitants come to life at night. Many flower species will close up during daytimes, blossoming during sunsets and illuminating the night. Bioluminescent sandflower foxes leave glowing footprints wherever they travel, a delicious source of nutrients for slow-moving glossbacks.
Rainbow worms are a growing epidemic within this region. These apex predators have been seen breaching the surface more frequently in recent years, suggesting food supplies below the Crust are becoming scarce. Several towns and small cities have been abandoned in the wake of these worms. Around coastlines, benthic rainbow worms are too an issue, terrorising local ecosystems. As temperatures drop in the waters around the desert for unexplained reasons, these mile long worms have been seen much closer to the surface.
Oooh I'd love to see more species from this area :D I love seeing your map in all of these articles btw
