One of the oldest groups of slimes to have inhabited Eudan, the Ephenic popularised the ancient concept of an "empire". The Ephenic are said to have dominated the continent Eudan between 15,000 and 12,000 years ago, where they successfully influenced other civilisations on the mainland and spread their claims.

the ephenic era was between 15,000 and 12,000 years ago. during this time they conquered most corners of Eudan, aside from the Forest of Beauty, which remained under etalish control for the entire empire's reign, even managing to claim some of the Eccentric Meadows.
about 14,000 years ago they claimed a total of a third of the continent, Coral Mountain, Blue Plateau, some of the Apalous Vein and the Dove's Tail Desert were all their territory.the coral desert was where slimes first set foot on eudan.
