Into the Yonderverse
Welcome to the Yonderverse, a science fantasy project of mine. This world is an ever-expanding universe full of drama, conflict, love, endless critters wandering about, and about everything in between. This is a lifelong project, with the goal of creating a breathtaking universe full of realistically complex people, cultures, nations, planets, galaxies, as much as I can possibly manage.
This universe is simply a sponge, soaking up all of my random creative ideas all over the place, combining it into one giant squishy world of simultaneous fun and horror, and everything in between.
World History
The Yonderverse is 640 billion years old. Throughout this history there have been many catastrophic events, such as the time when time itself got a little muddled up and pulled the past and the future into the present. Or, the past, since this was a hundred billion years ago.
There have been too many events in the Yonderverse's history for me to recap them all here, so keep an eye out on the complete Yonderverse timeline.
In recent years the oanie have proven to be a formidable force. They're smart and use this to their advantage by staying within the laws, having taken control of thousands of planets to strip them of their resources to aid in their own technological, societal and magical advancements.
Current Events
Oanie Colonisation
Throughout Districts 1 and 2, the devilish oanie have been expanding their claims. There is no sign of them slowing down as they annihilate species after species, planet after planet. The majority of the species love to boast about how smart they are, much to the annoyance of others.
Universal Clock
The present date in the Yonderverse is defined by the creation of the Universal Clock. For thousands of years, scientists were trying to figure out a way to link up all calendars so that keeping track of the flow of time was easier. This led to the creation of the Universal Clock, but when it was activated something awful happened.
What To Expect
From a world with over half a million words and a thousand plus articles, what should readers expect? Lots of species, that's for sure. While it's not my "main focus", my real life background is very zoological and animal-related, and that's what I enjoy writing most.
I am branching out into developing more of the cultures of the people in the Yonderverse, which is rather a large undertaking withThe Milky Way
Most of my worldbuilding takes place in the Milky Way, a place you are probably familiar with. The focus is on the Oasis, a small section of this galaxy full of life. Almost every solar system in the Oasis has some kind of native space-faring species, and space outside of these systems are full of giant colonies, their own mini-oases where species and cultures mingle, blend, and produce all kinds of amazing celebrations, cuisines, technologies, and sometimes other species.
The oanie are from the Milky Way, too. In fact, the Kurhira System that their native planet orbits within is one of the most worldbuilt solar systems in the Yonderverse.
Disclaimer: There is little storyline to follow in the Yonderverse. Most of my ideas are sporadic and I jump around from place to place, worldbuilding random things. I'm slowly squishing things together to form a storyline, developing interesting characters, and creating a world I'm truly proud of. If you're interested in checking off some spin-off worlds I have created, see below.
Yaaaay, the Yonderverse! :D I love all the species you create.
Thank youuu!! <33
