Personal History
Born in 274, Cheria entered a moderately large household in Xexiala. He grew up comfortably, indulging in a lifestyle he crafted himself. His bedroom was decorated top to bottom with animal figurines and collectibles, and age 6 he began taking an interest in skeletons, after finding the remains of a death pig on the side of a road. He took it back, attempted to dissect it and retrieve the bones, somewhat successfully.
His interest in skeletons and bone collecting only grew with age. He began collecting all of the roadkill he could find, carefully dissecting them for their bones, and one by one he would piece together the animals, reconstructing them into their former glory. At age 17, he discovered his ability to decompose animal corpses with just a very prolonged touch. After sleeping on his desktop after a long day, he put his hand on top of a small deceased animal. When he woke up, he discovered the perfectly preserved skeleton embedded in his hand, with no trace of flesh or anything.
He decided to test this out by stuffing a small dead animal in his leg for a few hours. To his surprise, he found that the corpse slowly decomposed into nothingness, just leaving the bones. This discovery led to his bone collection increasing tenfold, not only with more skeletons but with pristine ones.
After moving out and into his own house, he dedicated his life to cleaning skeletons and selling them for a profit. Quickly it became a full time job, because strangely enough people wanted to have a random, perfectly preserved skeleton in their house. At this point he started wearing clothes, which is uncommon in slime society due to how uncomfortable they can be, to conceal the fact he would stuff dead animals in his body for days at a time to clean them.
Cheria went on many travels to the four continents on Osao, seeking out new animal skeletons to collect. He quickly became fairly well known due to the popularity of the utopia at the time, and the story of an unusual man searching for dead animals drew in lots of attention. He was dubbed as the "Boner" online, and many feel sorry for him for it.
Bone Collection
Cheria's skeleton collection is probably the most expansive one on the planet. There are a grand total of 9,595 skeletons in his collection, with 2,304 unique species. This collection can be found in a large biodome formed from Cheria's regenerative flesh, nestled in a canyon in the Zcarazas Plains in western Unuth.
The collection is visible to the public for 13 months out of the 15 month year; the other 2 months are spent re-organising the skeletons, so when the time comes for visitors again, returning tourists will be able to see new skeletons. Cheria only keeps a third of his skeletons visible to the public at any one time, and rotates a handful of them every year.
