My name is Charlie Lancaster, Captain, and leader of The Final Voyage. Two days ago, the United Space Confederation declared the launch of the last manned voyage into the depths of space. We are headed far further than any human has ever gone and have no hope of return. The rest of the crew is quiet, fully aware that they will never go home again, but I am hopeful.
