Lucid Realm
A dimension where one's subconscious can be manipulated. The Lucid Dimension, in its physical form, is an everlasting crystalline ocean, with waves of glass coating the water. Small islands can be found in this dimension, tied to a different person's dreams.
The Lucid Realm cannot be inhabited for long periods of time. A consequence of entering this realm is that one's mind unravels. Strands of dead minds float along the surface of the realm, the fading memories of those that attempted to traverse this region.
Geography, Location & Climate
The ocean's surface can be walked on as if it is only a few inches deep, but can also be dove into and swam down infinitely. Stories of unexplored worlds below the lucid ocean have caused thousands to try and swim to the bottom, only for their minds to unravel.
If not careful, the glassy ocean will cut deep into one's mind, soul, and essence. One's subconscience becomes their conscience, and this can alter their behaviour and attitude.
The islands of the Lucid Realms are refuges against the unpredictable ocean. The flow of time is broken on these islands, with it potentially reversing, resulting in de-ageing to the point of re-birth, or ageing to the point of death.
I love this, I am a huge fan of anything dream (or nightmare) related, so this is just my vibe, I would honestly love to visit if there wasn't a risk of going insane, or time itself turning you either back to a baby or killing you from age tbh! :D
