Pollen storms are a devastating weather phenomena around many planets. These storms see a massive increase in pollen count, having severe effects on local populations, particularly those with allergies to certain pollens.

Pollen storms often occur within forests with species of megaflora, capable of producing massive amounts of pollen. The giant flower fields of Cilvarth and the Phalan Forest of Norrab are two locations that frequently see pollen storms. Storms lethal enough can wipe out hundreds of animals, with clumps of pollen blocking the mouth and nostrils, preventing breathing.
