    1. Tome of the Stilled Tongue:
      ATTUNEMENT = 60,000gp
      This thick leather-bound volume has a desiccated tongue pinned to the front cover. Five of these tomes exist, and it's unknown which one is actually the original. The grisly cover decoration on the first tome of the stilled tongue once belonged to a treacherous former servant of the lich-god Vecna, keeper of secrets. The tongues pinned to the covers of the four copies came from other spellcasters who crossed Vecna. The first few pages of each tome are filled with indecipherable scrawls. The remaining pages are blank and pristine. If you can attune to this item, you can use it as a spellbook and an arcane focus. In addition, while holding the tome, you can use a bonus action to cast a spell you have written in this tome, without expending a spell slot or using any verbal or somatic component. Once used, this property of the tome can't be used again until the next dawn. While attuned to the book, you can remove the tongue from the book's cover. If you do so, all spells written in the book are permanently erased. Vecna watches anyone using this tome. He can also write cryptic messages in the book. These messages appear at midnight and fade away after they are read.

      The belle of the book ball in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, and composed by Tasha herself. This expansive treatise is considered the most blasphemous tome of demonology in the multiverse - recounting the Abyss and demons' oldest and most current profanities. It documents the Abyss' infinite layers and inhabitants, and although demons have attempted to rip out pages to conceal their secrets, the book continues to keep up-to-date.     7. Diary of a Thief:

      This book is a pocket sized leather diary; telling of a young thief and his victims. Every time a reader finishes a page of this book that person loses three gold coins - Unsure of where it went.

    8. To Cheat A Devil:
      Price = 9sp
      The fictional autobiography of a man who tricked dozens of minor devils, and even a few archdevils into doing his nefarious bidding. It seems like this man should be much more well known if the events described in this book actually took place.

    9. The Night's Embrace:
      Price = 10gp
      A book about the primordial titans, mostly legend and myth, collected by an eccentric young wizard who traveled the planes looking for information about them. This book is highly frustrating to scholars, although classified as fiction, because the last entry is the beginning of a summary of an actual historical document about the ancient massive Giants, which has never been found. The book is unfinished and the wizard has not been seen for over one hundred of years.

    10. Naught but the Wind's Caress:

      A collection of torrid love stories between one of the High Elves of the Feywild Expanse and their Air Genasi lover.

    11. Animated Apocrypha - A Book of Movement and Morals

      An enchanted book of tales with illustrations that move on their own in a set repeating pattern. The tales tend to connect to the nearest civilization and depict stories of good morals.

    12. The Story of Gravel:

      The story of a Earth Genasi slave forced to be a pit-fighter who turned to meditation as an escape from his violent life. This book is not well written, feels heavily laced with mediation techniques, and is probably an earlier work of a novice author that never reached wide spread fame.

      book two of a trilogy of two heroes within a royal navy who fall in love and must choose between being together or saving the world.

    14. Journey of the Fourth:

      A tale of the fourth child of a noble baron to the Pelago Islands.

      A classic Malnaxian tale of a lusty Harengon Stablehand, who worked in the Dragon Stables in Jingré City - and how lucky they were in passion and moving up the classes.

      a story of a child wandering through The Dream Realm.
