Kutloc
"The land remembers"
The map of Kutloc is incomplete in parts due to so many people never returning when travel through the Feywild Expanse sectors.
There are always been a section of Kutloc that has been able to access The Feywild Realm - around the Fen Sounds the veil betweene the Prime Material Plane and The Feywild Realm is particularly thin.
The Wild Mother originally placed the Feywild Expanse around the Fen Sounds to keep a safe area that connected the wilderness of Material Plane with her Feywild Realm.
The Land grew furious at the blood soaking into the earth and the damage caused by the various invaders in the area of land in and around, what is now known as Labés City. The Land ranted to The Wild Mother drawing her out to see what The Land was speaking of. Furious The Wild Mother increased the area known as The Feywild Expanse to block off Labés City from most of the rest of Kutloc.
The God Acheron took advantage of the nastiness going on in and around Labés City. The Hag known as The Violet Vixen and by Kazor The Rakshasa , were part of what Acheron and The Enchantress Ezmia started.
The Enchantress Ezmia , sent to the Prime Material Plane by the God Acheron - his attention was peaked by the fighting of the second invasion of Labés City. The Enchantress Ezmia was always anti-Elemental based magic. She believed using the six elements was lazy and unstable wthin the Types of Magic.
The Enchantress slipped into The Feywild Expanse, and using her Unaspected Arcane magic, caused many large creatures to turn more dangerous and created other unnatural creatures. While The Wild Mother tried to deal with holding the Feywild Expanse in place and took efforts to stop the Enchantress - The Wild Mother steady went insane.
Few people dare to adventure there - fear of the Feywild Expanse and the suffering of the Land - the myth of Old Man Land grows inside the Feywild Expanse.
At border to Feywild Expanse where the Marigold Coast reaches the Crystal Cavern - out of corner of their eye, people see the golden shimmer on the air. Watching as a person step through is like they vanish with a single step. The person who entered can still see those in the Material Plane - through a bronze-ish haze.
Rumours of many unusual sights leads a few very daring souls to adventure into the Feywild Expanse.
A group known as The Gamblers' Run were tasked to complete the quest that would restore Kutloc to the Material Plane. However, realising it was a differcult quest with high chases of death, they selected to turn it into a game where the board was the whole of Kutloc, including those pieces in the Feywild Expanse. The tokens are people - no longer from their own families, or locals, but kidnapped from the continent of Malnax, and forced to play.
Geography
The land outside the Feywilds and the Feywild Expanse is a lot of woods and forests with sandy beaches.
Inside the Feywilds, it is changeable and can be of extremes.
Whispers of in the fey areas:-
* a mountain covered by massive crystals that glow
* A sinister Vast black bog
* Ruins hide an arch free castle
* mountain range that lead into volcanic wastelands
FEYWILD
Colours = brighter - shadows are darker
Moons = always in sky (even during day)
Shape and size = Infinite
Gravity = Light
Time = Erratic
Morphic trait = Alterable
Magic trait = Enhanced (arcane)
The Feywild is often described as beautiful, robust, and sometimes tranquil. But ultimately the realm shares a side of darkness and savagery that embodies nature's feral side.
The Feywild exists in parallel to the Prime Material Plane, an alternate dimension that occupies the same cosmological space. The landscape of the Feywild mirrors the natural world but turns its features into spectacular forms. ... Aside from the colorless landscape, it appears similar to the Material Plane.
The Feywilds, also known as the Plane of Faerie, is a verdant home of cruel fey and endless desires. To walk through the land of the Feywild, one risks death from all matter of creatures, and even if you survive the perils of the Feywild, you may end up never being able to leave. The call of the Feywild is difficult to resist to all mortals, and many fey - like Elves, eladrin, and satyrs - have such a desire to journey to it that they are willing to risk their lives.
