Stony

Located on the Southern side of the Northern Isle, Stony is a medium sized town, near the coast of Scuttle Bay. It was so named because of the stony and clay soil on which it was built. It is settlement some people will visit too, although most are unlikely to travel on any further West.

To the North-East is the stunning Spiral Peak. Along the road between Spiral Peak and Stoney is the aromatic and visual attractive Floral Fields. Stoney is known in Farr City and throughout most of the Northern Isle, for selling the best cut flowers from the Floral Fields.

To South-West stands the Echo Woodsand the Dusk Quagmire - which leads on to Belve, or to Odd. Otherwise, travelers can take the longer route to Odd - that avoids the creepy Echo Woods and unsettling Dusk Quagmire. This route heads past the South West side of Spiral Peak, and the aromatic Floral Fields, and then down the opposite coast looking out to the Bold Strait.

The Spiral Peak is regularly easy to see from Stony - except for the very peak which is covered by heavy cloud. That cloud clears during the hours of 3 to 4 - both morning and night.

Teahouse

This is one of the first businesses in Stony - with a reputation for excellent teas, scones with a wide variety of homemade jams to try, and fresh cream. A small fruit garden is located on the left of the main entrance, and their cow named Dottie lives in the small paddock behind the building. They sell jams, milk and eggs to the locals.
A place where the locals gather to unwind and talk. The two old women who own it are sisters, and one sits weaving while the other knits - willing to teach anyone who pays attention to their crafts.

Yarn = a continuous twisted strand of natural or synthetic fibres, used in weaving, knitting, or sewing.

General Goods Store

The building has large glass windows full of creative displays. Inside has dark wooden floors, and is painted a bright blue - with fluffy white clouds added on the ceiling. The well-stocked shelves are arranged in orderly sections, and each area is then alphabetically. Tall wooden ladders, painted yellow, give the owners and their staff ease of access to the stock.

The Dustee Rose

Inn

The inn is a small half-timbered building, with a small hedged yard with free-roaming chickens and pig pens around the back. A dusk colour rose adorns the Inn's sign. Inside is roughly hewn wooden tables, benches, a long bar and a low stage adorned with a colourful backdrop and special lighting. It is exceptionally filthy (except on the stage area), and poorly lit by a few tallow candles - made of animal fats.

+ Mojo (Mickell - Tabaxi - Trinketer trying to create new power source - dresses as male for when inventing, and as a woman in the evening - wears red dust dye on grey fur, dark red wig, and a crushed velvet, crimson gown),
+ Layla (Larry - lumberjack - seeking to transition into woman (via magic) - wears black long wig in a loose plait, and a satin chocolate gown)
+ Rosie (Thanik - Half-Elf - Owner of inn - drag queen for fun and wear pretty things - wears curly blonde wig, and a silk sapphire gown)
Accommodation: consists of woolen blankets and woven bed mats placed near the hearth.
Innkeeper: a slender male Half-Elf named Thanik Mylne. Has striking blue eyes and short, straight brown hair. He has an animal companion, a reddish-brown bear named Dustee.
Bartender: Zane Dailey young faced male - looks Half-Elf - short curly blonde hair - small dark brown eyes, indented a bit - lips are full and pinked - warm tan skin - skilled piano player - from Farr City

Building: stone two story - ground level split into books for sale and those for loan - Louis Stems lives upstairs
Owner: Louis Stems (also is Mayor) - Half-Elf - brown hair in fancy styles - hazel brown eyes - wears rose scents and elegant white dresses (wants to not look so plain)

Mayor = Louis Stems - Half-Elf - likes to keep the peace, so encourages debate and conversations - grew up in Janney - owns The Bookery - enjoys myths, looking into old tales, and researching legends
