Floral Fields


Floral Fields is a large Nursery located on Northern Isle, at the foot of the Spiral Peak, on the West side - heading towards Stony.

The flowers are sold throughtout Northern Isle, however the best are sent to their own store in Stony.

Rows on rows of various flowers grow and bloom in the fields. The fertile volcanic soil means the flowers grow strong and to a good size. Butterflies, birds, and bees flutter above the blooms.

At harvest time, the days fill with a particular strong perfume of the flowers been picked. The scent of tulips lingers days after they are picked.
Fields hold Tulips, Peonies, Sunflowers, Dahlias, Zinnias and bushes of Lavender.

The family homes and workers buildings at the North-East end, closet to the Spiral Peak - made of mud.

To the North side of the fields are two rows of bee hives, a bird sanituary area, and a butterfly haven. Numerous types of beetles live amongst the flowers, storage buildings and homes.


Localized Phenomena


Owned by a Tabaxi family with the surname Beetle - live together as a community. some move away, like Diamond Beetle who lives in Stony, but frequently return.

Grass Beetle - Tabaxi - caramel colouring with brown face, ears and feet - male. Bright blue eyes - oldest sibling - hippie-type - speaks to plants - going deaf - learning sign language.
Grew up on the Floral Fields with his two siblings Click and Bess. Married Sugar Beetle ten years ago.

Sugar Beetle - Tabaxi - White fur coloured with one green and one blue eye - male - sweet tooth - loves dancing - learning sign language - adores being outside.
His birth name was Sugar Cane - He was known as Cane - a very quick to anger person, who lived in Hyon working in The Northern Silver Mine - at the Bardic Springs, Cane meet Grass Beetle. He never returned to the mine.

Click Beetle has two children Boll Beetle and Rove Beetle with Bee Beetlebr] Click is a Tabaxi with short brown fur that looks black until in the sunlight - had white triangle of fur in middle of face, cross the nose. The middle sibling - male
Click lived in Farr City for six years, on one trip home meet Bee who was working in the fields. When Click return to the city, he never stopped thinking about her. The couple is monogamous, however never married.

Bee Beetle - Halfling - female - dark red, shoulder length, wavy hair - loves preparing and eating food - favourite flower is purple Dahlias.
Bee (nee: Honey Bee Harpton Surefoot ) grew up in Reece, Northern Isle, and studied comtempory art in Odd, before meeting Click. Bee has a large family of twelve siblings, who all moved to Fogi Island - she is the fourth oldest.

Boll Beetle - small half Tabaxi, half Halfling - dark brown hair/fur - wears red and yellow outifts - reads a lot - favourite flower are Red Sunflower

Rove Beetle - small half Tabaxi, half Halfling - bright red hair/fur - likes black outifts - always points of the negative side of things - emo-type - favourite flower are Black peonies

Bess Beetle - Tabaxi - female - youngest sibling - has two partners Wolf and Chafer

Wolf Beetle (nee: Wolf Bark) - nickname: Bark - Tabaxi - female - dark marl grey fur - straight forward and bluntly honest - dark sense of humour

Chafer Beetle (nee: Kelm Chafer) - Tiefling - male - golden brown horns - caramel-honey coloured skin - black long hair
Chafer comes from a family of travelling general goods merchants
