Old Man Land
MYTH
Linked to: Labés City, Kutloc
The Wild Hunt still happens in the middle of Winter when The Twin Moons of Praot and Kontaaiti are both full - The Hunger Moons.
This started in the Prime Material Plane of Kutloc - after the blooding of innocent blood became too excessive - a haunting phenomenon involving a pack of baying ' Fey Hounds' that can enchant individuals they meets outdoors to follow the mad race through the countryside. People so often become swept up in the Hunt - finding themselves in unexpectedly within some random part of the Feywild Expanse of Kutloc, battered and bruised without memory of any of it - just weird dreams (some even go crazy).
People who believe warn others to stay indoors on that night to avoid being caught up in it.
The Old Man Land is represented physically as an old Half-Elf male the size of a Goliath - his face looks to be created by tree bark and eyes stunning green. On his head - the chosen few sight antlers of a buck deer (translucent if visible). Often is seen seated cross-legged, or riding a massive stallion.
In local Kutloc belief, this old man is The Land as Herne The Hunter. He is taking care of the nature living and growing on the land. He is generally regarded as a being of two aspects: his two horns symbolize, his dual nature. Being the land, as well as caring for all that rely on the land by killing some animals to protect the land from over-population. Night sightings of "The Horned Man" were believed to be omens that portended natural disasters and significant deaths. While, sighting in the daylight were signs of protection and opportunity.
An old man appeared with horned upon his head, and tears of blood down his cheeks. He curse the city and took those who he deemed harmless safety from that spot. He called to The Wild Mother, who angered but his distress expanded the Feywild across the land.

Sometimes the keeper there in such a Forest,
Appeared in the morning light of dew,
Walked round about a giant oak, with head adorned with horns;
And there he grew a new tree, and foxgloves did bloom.
Yet at night the sorrow reaches out from his call,
The blood split so long ago,
Those chains tied by menacing masters
In a hideous and dreadful manner;
Klodis had then called out to Melora,
Her answer was to create the Feywild into an Expanse,
No one is free to wander alone in such a place.
You have heard of such a spirit,
Those be no idle tales, for it is The Land
Who never will forget.
