Enam the Warpath Character in Acaelica | World Anvil

Enam the Warpath

Enam, more commonly referred to by his full honorific Enam the Warpath, was an Aasimar warrior who is regarded as one of the greatest heroes (and one of the most powerful warriors) in the history of Acaelica.

He lived somewhere between 3121 and 5100WR (as with all records during the period now called Wild Reckoning, the exact dates are--at best--disputable) and his exploits are to this very day told as adventure stories to young children.

Tall Tale

As history tends to be written by the victors, it is likely that his exploits were embellished or exaggerated in the records of his accomplishments. However, several of his exploits have been corroborated--including his confrontation with Csijo that was said to slow the initial expansion of The Starving Sea. He features heavily in the surviving artwork of utterly disconnected cultures from that time.

Although usually described as a wise and calm individual, he earned his nickname by following through in unwavering (and often bloody) fashion with the tasks set for him by Kester Braedon--the man he called General.

It was said that nothing and no one could stand in his way. This proved accurate until his ultimate and tragic demise when he, Braedon, and other elite soldiers attempted to stand against The Void Song and were slaughtered to a man.
