The Shadowglen

The Warpfields:

Filled with putrid hills and twisted machinations. The Warpfields earned it's name due to the warped magics which has poured through the rifts and tainted the lands. Where once green hills stood, the grass is now a painted liliac with sickly looking trees and vines covering both the grounds and villages which still survived the transformation.   With survival came also adaptation, as great machines of magitechnical design spread through the fields through large coils, domes and spires which seep the blend of chaotic and abyssal energy into it's reserves.

The Tainted Springs:

A place north of the Warpfields, where the grass yet growns brown, safe from the corruption with seeps underneath the soil. Though ever so often this broken world will spew forth tainted streams of gooplike water from it's underground springs, unto the wastelands above.   Should one look up for salvation of what lurks beneath it's thousand cracks, one may despair to see the great shadows of a floating city ever threaten with it's spires hanging upside down from the physically impossible roofs.

The Twilight Grove:

This place of nature stands as a testimony for the godesses of natures impervious skill for conquest. These lands once a part of the Warpfields and the original home to the magical plague which has spread still faltered to the wrath of nature. Now the once sickly violet radiates in a beautiful lavender colour as large trees with pink and purple leaves still dwarf underneath the might of the sturdy Faeire-oaks which swirly mists are theorized to attack and turn the foul magics that taint the air.   Though a recidency to creatures such as fairies and sprites, one should make no misstake that nature can conquer and turn everything good. The essence of chaos thus still linger, and while nature may officially rule, their once tainted soil has still mutated the woods to a magically beautiful, but equally deadly place.

The Twisted Crucible:

Within the mountains of the Shadowglen remains the old ruins from the underground cities which the Dzûgher left many generations ago. Now remains only the mutants and monstrosities which inhabit the ancient halls, along the tainted ones which search the halls for riches and underground victims for the warped experiments.

Inverted city of Vofth:

A large city found on the floating isles of soil and stone which once belonged to the earth within the tainted springs. Now it soars ever above the ground, fully reversed to a completely illogical upside down stature due to the warping of natures laws.   Should one be able to enter this kingdom of the Monarch of Dusk, one may still find that everything appears like normal on the isles, though with the skies being the ground beyond and the twisted lands which he reign over a roof where nothing can avoid his all seeing eyes.

Ravens Gate:

The one location yet untouched by the horrors of the warp. The Ravens Gate used to be one of many entries into the old kingdom of Morkadia but has since long fallen with a majority of the kingdoms lands. Now it serve as little more than a historical monument and passage into the dark deepwoods of Ravenhollow.   Many secret halls, yet to be uncovered by the Monarch of Dusk also serve as a forward camp to the resistance which still exists from the long since fallen House of Ravens, and their Blackblood and House of Crows allies.
