Sarak

Divine Domains

Justice, release, purity, death and order. The domain of Sarak is known as a vast desert of bones and dust deep within the beyond. In a realm where the dead rise as guardians of the souls, Sarak has been sent as a harbinger of all souls lost in the soulstorm. A protector and agent who seek to deliver us all peacefully into the night, while fending of the tendrils of the abyssal taint for perverting the immortal soul.

Artifacts

Among the artifacts of Sarak are it's trusty weapons Harvester and Old Betty. The prior being their scythe which represents life, death, rot and renewal. The second being a sawn-off shotgun which doesn't really represent anything. It's just really good at turning tentacle monsters into straight up cooked calamari.   Other artefacts linked to Sarak whom nobody has any idea what they're good for or even are, is their flamewheeler. An overly intricate contraption which looks like a bicycle turned into some form of machine through steampower. It's also accompanied by a big bag which fits a whole fourteen clubbed metal round, which looks like they were made for some weird sport. Sarak is also depicted in art to go together with a holy wine cup which they're sipping on within the background of a fancy Normanian vinyard.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

A pair of crossed scythes above a faceless hood often signify the faceless, near bodyless visage of Sarak as a pitch black revenant made of smoke. The reason for this incognial visage is to portray that all and everyone are equalized in death. The final judgement and absolution of the soul.

Tenets of Faith

  • You shall not stain your hands with the blood of mortals, unless there is no other way to defend yourself.
  • Violence is not honor nor bravery. Bravery and honor is to solve conflict with wits and words, without needs for blade and pistol to be drawn.
  • Mortality is finite. Live with kindness and common sense to avoid the most gruesome and unforgiving misstakes.
  • Even the blind can see more nuance than those who refuse to give a care.
  • To be proud of oneself is not pride. Self love and a mind for growth makes for an eternal companion. Disregard for ones own imperfections makes for Pride, as a senseless hunt for perfections and cravings lead to dire Desperations.
  • A lesser man wields hate against his foes. A greater man wields common sense against his foes. The greatest men wield common sense against the perverted ideals of their rivals.
  • In the end, we are all one and the same. In life, we get to make the most of it. Make it a good legend.
