Crowsguard
Structure
The group is lead by the Head Treasurer, because Ophelia simply has an odd sense of humor and thought it was a good idea to set a bandit in charge of keeping watch on the coin. Something which has still been greatly beneficial due to his knowledge of thievery. The second two in charge are the Captains, where one is a hire of the Raven Company and the second is Goldbert's right hand.
Public Agenda
The Crowsguard exist to protect and defend the Household and it's royal family. Though this extends to every citizen or servant which lives underneath their owned territories, as a right of safety and protection decreed by the Crow.
History
The Crowsguard started their not so noble band of brothers as a criminal group of train raiders which plagued the railroads built by the Raven Company. As they grew richer, more infamous and numerous, they became a serious threat which the House of the Raven couldn't ignore, nor beat from their own resources alone. Naturally Lady Amelia wouldn't let this slide even without a proper army to hunt the culprits down with, so she requested the help from her half sister Ophelia Donnergroll.
By playing the gang leader to the oldest trick in the book, namely taking the visage of a brothel worker and leading Goldbert to a shady alley, he was persuaded by Ophelia's wit and charm to lay down arms. After then returning to his gang with a lovescar across his eye from the night of passion, he suddenly and unexpectedly had the whole group pledge their undying loyality to the House of Crows.
The bandits turned a royal mercenary guardforce didn't complain for long though, as they were now paid just for blowing stuff up, shooting bottles at ranges and monsterous fiends in the trenches, partying away to their hearts delight in the many state official brothels and being thrown grandieur parties and feast fit for kings and queens.
Military
The Crows Milita serve as the infantery of the Household and is lead by one of the Captains. If attacked, the Milita serves as the first and last frontline against threats.
The Stormriders serve as the cavalary and is lead by Goldbert himself on top of a great direwolf. This cavalary uses guns rather than melee weapons though and tend to run wild among the cliffs and mountains while shooting at any foe with ranged missiles of ordinary and Stormtech Weapons.
The Saraksgarde is a Corvex backed up melee infantry group which serves as anti cavalary and anti ranged by using large shields, spears, gunswords and Delusiomancy to confuse and decimate their foes.
