Umbra'Ell, Canesword of the first Crow

Umbra

Umbra'Ell meaning Shadow Cane in the Dark elven language is an ancient sword forged from sarkanium and old forgotten components that belonged to an ancient civilization. In the hands of a black blood, the weapon becomes incredibly dangerous as it harnesses the shadow in their blood, to let them cut right through solid objects and into the very soul of a being.   The blade has even been a key player in both of Saraks champions and remains the single known weapon to have banished Draghânir, the god of Corruption. Besides this it also played an imperative role in the fight against the Lèflux Sangerinica as it could strike down an immortal being, and thus earned its nickname God punisher.   The blade remains used to this day by the Caras family and follows the tradition of never being used unless another catastrophic threat arrives to break entire civilizations.

Ell

The very sword itself looks like a rapier in design, with metal black as the night that carry golden engravings in its middle. When the weapon is sheathed by inserting it to the casing and rotating it clockwise, the weapon looks fairly inconspicuous with ebony wood, silver bindings and a crystalline pommel chiseled like a ravens head. Well, it might be kind of an eye catcher but due to how well hidden the blade part is, most do not expect it to be a weapon.

Caras

Legends speak of untold power within the crystal that is yet to be unraveled, but the clue lies in the tongue of the crows and will be revealed when the murder is assembled. The ‘untold power’ however seems to be the fact that the blade allows the wielder to talk with birds. So if this is the full potential or just part of the riddle, is still up for debate!
