Scarnza
Geography
The northern lands of Scarnza, said to be formed as a the claw of a dragon, which tears it's nails through a bleeding mountain heart.
It's a land as wild and tempestous as it's people, filled with tall and sparkling mountains, and rolling green hills. Surrounded by the cliffs and great fjall that tower above the thousand rivers and sails. From fjords brimming with life, to the marshes as treasonus as the summer ice. A continent and it's many isles, mysterious like the southern lakes, yet seasonous as it's winter tales.
The stories of Scarnza are many, often filled with great horror, ceaseless cold and dangers a-plenty, yet the skalds still sing hymns to it's beauty and fervor. Should their tales be heard, heed the call and see it's natural art, for Scarnza has far more to behold than wasteland snow.
Ecosystem
From ravens to wyverns, dragons and draki.
From salmon, to serpents, orca and lindworms.
From foxes to wolves, worgs and bears. Untamed, unclaimed and never chained. The wilderness of Scarnza remains free for only the brave. From the smallest of squirrel, the largest of oaks. A wilderness that will test your valor, your will. A nature that demands you give all your might and harness your skill. An ecology that all weakness it kills, while the strongest of spirit and mind it will give. Skald hymn of stoicism
History
Blood in the snow, ravens and wolves feasting on the remains, such is the past of Scarnza, and the present. This land is ravaged by war, ever since the days where the world was one and the heroes of old still walked the lands.
These temples and totems of the old ones still stand strong to this day, and can be found filled with lore and stories from eras dating from the ancient past of humanity's first baby steps to that of the present date. Sadly, most of the world see Scarnza as nothing more than a cold wasteland filled with mongrels and barbarians ready to raid and plunder at the first scent of blood. An ignorance that has cost many civilizations dearly.
