Brother vs Brother

General Summary

Episode #026

We begin where the last episode left off...Malchus and Ironhide nose to nose in a clearing, surrounded by Yenward, Thoril, Rodswell and Drakonis all waiting to see what will happen. Malchus is the first to strike and staggers Ironhide with multiple hits but Ironhide fires right back and bloodies Malchus. Rodswell heals Ironhide and blasts Malchus back, Drakonis gets in the middle and changes his appearance to mimic Malchus while Yenward, Thoril and Rodswell try to form a human chain between the two. The fight goes back and forth and Rodswell heals Malchus and then runs away, followed shortly by Yenward. Drakonis continues to try to get them to stop fighting but eventually blasts both with a fireball. Thoril attempts to solve the whole issue by attacking both fighters, knocking Ironhide out in the process.

After the fight, Malchus and Ironhide come to something of an understanding and everyone wanders off towards the White Ravens headquarters where they find a mass panic setting in as Briahna and Liara mobilize everyone to rush to the Evergreen. Liara takes the bulk of the Ravens to help the Elves who are attacking the Overwatch in the forest while Brie and the party head to a different part of the forest and confront 3 Warforged titans.

Episode #027

As the episode opens, Rodswell is shocked into a coma by the Orb of Light and the group has to decide what to do with him while they travel to Cal Cas. They decide to carry him with them so Yenward is chosen for the job. Along the way, they encounter some very capable kobolds with crazy pit digging skills but eventually beat the evil creatures.

Everyone meets back up near the Great Tree where they meet Brettana Moonshadow, leader of the Elves and are shocked to discover that Nathaniel has snuck out of Winterhaven and fought alongside Liara in the battle. The Elven clerics take Rodswell to safety and many stories are shared between the party and the elves.

During the night, a monstrous crashing is heard and everyone retreats to Cal Cas where the party, with the assistance of the elves defends the area against the gigantic Titan Elite. Nathaniel and Briahna fight alongside the party, as well as a brave Elf named T'odisius, who inspired the party to fight as hard as they could by setting a strong example and being the first to land a blow on the titan. Episode #029

After the Titan Elite is destroyed, there is a solemn celebration as the dead and wounded are removed from the field. Yenward takes a keepsake from T'od, angering Mayven, Opie and Laef.

Yenward ponders somehow fixing the titan and riding it into battle against the Overwatch and commissions Mayven and Opie to find a gnome capable of fixing it, giving them T'od's necklace back to make amends.

The party discusses what their next move should be and decides visiting the Minotaurs at Thunderspire would make a good first stop but first they have to deliver Nathaniel back to Winterhaven. When they get close to Winterhaven, Ian is riding out with a group to find his son and a confrontation ensues but both sides decide now would not be a good time for them to fight among themselves.

After they leave Ian to deal with Nathaniel, they make it to Thunderspire without much issue and meet with Lariss Darkhoof, the leader of the clan to discuss the coming fight against the Overwatch.

Malchus and Yenward convince Lariss to let them deal with his power hungry nephew Kravel, which would set Yenward as the next in line to rule the Darkhooves.

Yenward duels Kravel in single combat and defeats him, but not without issue as the minotaurs view healing in mid-combat to be dishonorable.

The episode ends with Kravel's cronies angrily stomping away and the party preparing to return to Lariss with the news of his nephews death.

Una awakens, bound and laying on the ground surrounded by elves. As the Elven guards are taking Una to be executed, Briahna invokes the elven rite of Quen Fei, a one on one duel of honor. Brettana argues against it but eventually Brie wins out and gets her duel. The stakes; Una's death, or Briahna forgives her.

Marcus, Jadzia and Fie wake Commander Grace and tell him of Una's capture or death and not quite destroying the titan. Cmdr. Grace informs them that they will have another new team member to fill the gap that they now have and Aralove is introduced, much to Jadzia's dismay. They gather more explosives and head for Sgt. Baker's training grounds to gather the recruits for battle.

Brie and Una square off. Throughout the fight, Una tries to convince Briahna that she didn't intend to betray her. Brie hears none of it and with Una on her knees, tries to strike a killing blow. Though sheer luck or perhaps divine intervention, Briahna misses the killing shot and Una is spared.

Post fight, Una chats with Brettana and asks for a chance to talk to her friends to stop them from getting killed by the elves and her request is granted. She sprints off in the direction the group came in originally and finds them not far away. Una pleads for them to turn around to avoid killing the recruits and all getting killed. Gavin refuses and marches them forward but Fie and Jadzia step aside and effectively defect on the spot.

Fie, Jadzia and Una try to sprint ahead of the army to try one last ditch effort to stop them and they are met by lots of elves, Brettana and Brie and inform them that the army group is coming and not going to stop. The elves challenge the Overwatch soldiers and demand they stop but Gavin lights the explosives and sprints towards the titan, avoiding a hail of arrows along the way. He holds his position and hunkers down on the titan with the charges and orders the Overwatch to retreat, which they do in the chaos of the massive explosion.
