Neverwinter Stories: Book One – Chapter Six

General Summary

Having been woken by both new and old friends, Miguel rejoined the party in their mission to find the lost adventurers. Not long after setting back out — Zalak left behind to nurse a hangover — our heroes encountered a peculiar sight. A feminine, ebony-haired tiefling with crimson skin and a spoiled tune had fallen into a heated argument with the remnants of the Durbuluk Tribe. Markus soon escalated the situation by killing a young goblin worker, shortly followed by Balsag nearly attacking the planetouched noble. Tensions were only brought down by the quick thinking and silver-tongue of Miguel. The tiefling introduced herself as Lilith Blackheart and promptly, excitedly (and forcefully) joined the party in their quest.
Wielding directions provided by another local bugbear, the party journeyed further without the company of Miguel, who escorted the simmering Balsag back to his cave. Their progress was swift and before long they found a dense brier in an open cave. Assuming this to be the grove where Belak the Outcast spent his time, the party forged ahead, cutting down and burning all blights that rose against them. Finally, they spotted the man behind it all. A withered and worn druid, stood beside two people who matched the descriptions provided by Vurnor Leng. Unit 7-5-3 attempted to make contact, but hostility turned to violence as Alessandra punctuated their arrival with a eldritch blast.
