Mr. Ferkis Timbers (a.k.a. Erky)
A shady gnome acolyte from Helm’s Hold in service to its patron god. Erky has a long history of getting into trouble with the criminal underworld, all in vain attempts to gain great fortune. While he may be prone to delinquency, he’s also easygoing and values comradery.

Erky Timbers has a long history with many of the factions from Luskan and Neverwinter. This history is riddled with schemes and machinations — all of which he has somehow survived. He credits this good fortune to his god Tymora, but her bountiful luck has limits. In his time as a criminal Erky has accrued three massive debts. He will go through any lengths to pay these off, for if he doesn't by the end of the year the collectors will accept nothing short of his life.

To no one's surprise, Erky really enjoys drinking and gambling, most often at the same time. Many casino staff in Luskan know him by name, and even cut him deals from time to time.
To everyone's surprise, Erky really enjoys theater. He attends at least one play or opera a year, and enjoys quoting some of his favorite lines.

Surprising to most, including himself at times, Erky is a devout follower of Tymora. For Lady Luck he prays every dawn and dusk, and attributes most of his successes to her. That devotion has granted him a small portion of her divine magic, which he uses to tip the odds in his favor.

History
Erky and Miguel first met at a bar in Luskan. After a few drinks and some chatting, the two took on an odd job smuggling Silkroot into Luskan by boat down the River Mirar. They have been good friends ever since.

Erky and Alessandra first encountered each other during the The 2nd Sunless Citadel Expedition. Their relationship has been mostly professional, having only ever worked together when necessary.
