Neverwinter Stories: Book One – Chapter Four

General Summary

Now faced with the enraged Durnn and his entourage of goblinoids, our heroes chose a desperate struggle. Durnn and his hobgoblins demonstrated their knack for strategy, but over time the party slowly edged out their victory — one bloody swing at a time. backed into a corner with his shamaness Grenl defeated, Durnn threw himself into his throne room's pit, preferring to take his own life than face defeat. In the wake of their victory, the beaten and bloodied adventurers looted the chief's throne room while they pondered the purpose of the pit. Miguel was not content with simply pondering. While the party limped back to Yusdrayl's company he descended into the pit on his lonesome, only to find an even greater mystery.
Having returned to Yusdrayl and her follower with not only recovering the dragon, but also slaying the great Durnn and his horde of goblins, the party was greeted with a mass of admiring kobolds. To celebrate this monumental victory, Yusdrayl hosted a feast as large as her followers could muster, with the party as the guests of honor.
