The famous Fish and Shrimp restaurant is located near Bridgeport's busy docks and has been around for more than 30 years. The establishment has a long and interesting past, founded by a jovial sea captain named Roderick. The Fish and Shrimp was his way of sharing tales of his maritime adventures with the world. Over the years, it has transformed into a beloved fixture of Bridgeport, known for its hearty fare, lively atmosphere, and diverse clientele.

The Merman's Ball: Five years ago, the tavern started hosting the Merman's Ball, a lavish underwater-themed masquerade. Patrons don aquatic costumes, and the center of the main room is turned into an underwater wonderland with suspended jellyfish lanterns and shimmering blue draperies.

Sable the Songstress: A mysterious bard who frequents the tavern, her haunting melodies and cryptic lyrics enchanting the crowd.
Salty Jack: A grizzled old sailor with an eyepatch and tales of sea monsters. He can be found at the bar, nursing a tankard of ale and regaling anyone who will listen with his far-fetched yarns.
Simeon the Scholar: A bookish fellow who often occupies a corner table, lost in a tome or scribbling notes. He's known for ordering the tavern's spiced tea and engaging in debates with anyone who'll join in.
Timeline

Secrets
Captain Roderick got a bit into a financial trouble a few years ago. Dandan helped him out by bying a share of his business. She also persuaded him to add a cook from Han to the tavern staff so visitors from Han can have their cuisine from home available. There is a secret tunnel from the tavern to the basement of Dandan's Dragon Store. A ghostly sailor named Kip hauntingly roams the tavern at night. He seeks redemption for a tragic incident during his life but needs assistance from the living to find closure. An intricately detailed map of uncharted waters hangs on the tavern wall. It claims to contain secrets to mythical lands and untold riches, but deciphering its cryptic symbols and riddles is a task only a few can accomplish.Plot Hooks
The Missing Shipwright: A local shipwright who frequented the tavern has gone missing, leaving behind a mysterious blueprint / construction plan. The party is asked to investigate his disappearance and unravel the secrets hidden in the design. Idea: The plans are so complicated he went to go ask for help at Gnome Workshop, but is now stuck there (trapped in a magical device, found the gnomes' plans so intriguing that the can't keep his eyes from them and totally forgot about all other things, ...)
Captain Roderick's Challenge: Captain Roderick challenges the party to a friendly contest. If they win, he shares valuable information about a legendary treasure. But to secure victory, the party must overcome a series of nautical challenges and outsmart the seasoned captain. The party may have to be really creative and/or hire some exceptional crew.
Haunted Melodies: Eerie and ghostly melodies have been heard emanating from an old sea shanty book stored in the tavern. The party is tasked with investigating why that is.
The map of Bridgeport, a harbour city located in the south of Farenia, showcases a maritime center characterized by vibrant activity and bustling trade. Unlike other cities in Farenia, Bridgeport's harbour opens onto a different sea, setting it apart and granting it a unique status. To bolster its connectivity and reinforce its importance in regional trade, the ambitious Bridgeport Channel project is underway.
