Dandan, whose full name is Dan Xin-Li, was born in the distant country of Han, a land of rich traditions and ancient magic. Growing up in the bustling city of Mo-Lung, she developed a deep fascination with the exotic and mystical artefacts that her homeland was famous for. From a young age, she felt a strong attraction to the enchanting allure of relics and curiosities, spending hours exploring the marketplaces and learning about the unique crafts and mystical practices of Han.

As Dandan matured, her passion for collecting and trading exotic goods only grew stronger. She was particularly intrigued by the prospect of sharing the wonders of Han with the world beyond its borders. And so she made a life-altering decision: she would travel to distant lands and establish her own shop, a haven for treasures from her homeland. Bridgeport, with its reputation as a trading hub and melting pot of cultures, seemed like the perfect place to realise her dream.
Dandan's journey to Bridgeport was far from easy. Arriving in the city as a foreigner, she faced numerous challenges, including the language barrier and unfamiliar customs. She became a fixture of the Drapery district, known not only for her fine goods but also for her warm hospitality and her willingness to help others.

She even had contacts within her homeland of Han, who would send her rare and sought-after items, making her shop a destination for collectors and enthusiasts from all walks of life.
