Pickpockets, con artists, and more sinister elements take advantage of the crowded streets and distracted populace. The Black Guard, stretched thin as they strive to maintain order and protect the city, often find themselves unable to handle the surge in crimes and disturbances.
Enter Brightstone Investigative Services, the go-to solution for those who can afford a bit of extra security and peace of mind. Wealthier citizens and festival visitors, wary of the rising tide of thefts, frauds, and other misdemeanors, turn to the skilled detectives of Brightstone. The company receives a flood of requests to resolve various mysteries, from missing valuables and suspicious characters to more complex and potentially dangerous cases.
The team's detectives, including veterans like Eleanor March or Thomas Langford, are all hands on deck. These carriages are well-maintained and can be dispatched at a moment's notice. The carriages are located at the Binaco Stables in Flintlock District, when not in use.
Disguise Wardrobe: A well-stocked wardrobe filled with various costumes and accessories allows investigators to blend into different environments, whether it's a high-society event or a dockside tavern. This asset is invaluable for undercover work and surveillance. The wardrobe has been outsourced to Cilla's Costumes and Gadgets just to the left of the Brightstone office.
