Quell, followed by Wulf, finds an inn while Cali explores the city. She pays for Wulf because he does not understand money. They head to the blacksmith. Wulf shows the blacksmith his spear. "The problem is, when I throw it... Then it is over there." Wulf is going to be a beta tester! This blacksmith borders on the mad scientist side, so Wulf gets out of paying.
Quell assumes Cali is gone for good because she doesn't see them anywhere. Quell and Wulf try to find Doirin to show him Una's fire pendant. Doirin is a hottie.
The pendant would've blackened if Una hadn't given it willingly. Doirin doesn't know if that was just for Una or in general. Quell asks about Marana. One person knows of her and says she's by the river in broken traders cant.
Cali appears as if summoned, and they split the gold. Quell asks what they're doing now and Cali is confused. We go to the inn for snacks.
Quell explains all the things Wulf could dodge with a ring of evasion. Wulf gets drunk.
Leila is Tasha's new name. The inn-keep gives us this information and a general sense of where she lives. It's in the retirement community. There's a random dude who directs us to their house by "the strange carvings". He suggests we stay for Marana's meat pies.
Marana seems uneasy when we meet her. Wulf says Tasha and the mood darkens. Tasha/Leila brings us inside. Quell puts the crystal on the table for Tasha. She leads us to a bedroom and pulls an ornate mirror out of a triple locked box. [Erised, is that you?]
Our eyes go white as we look in it. We're in Nag. We're different people, but T'kari looks dead at Cali. They're unnerved. There's talk of stealing a mirror. We all get transported to a house as we break in. Quell goes for Nag crackers and finds a camouflaged door. They go through it and overhear a conversation about heart attunement before solving a rune puzzle and going into a bedroom. The mirror is in a wardrobe. We steal it and end up back in Tasha's bedroom.
Egil was the man with T'kari. Tasha doesn't know who she was, but Cali needs to know now.
Tasha brings us back to the kitchen for tea and meat pies, and tales of Tasha Bloodsail, feared pirate. Tasha says the pearl is evil but the crystal shard we have is neight good nor evil, just powerful. 12 shards exist; Tasha got one from Egil. She dropped it in the ocean. Quell brings up the Storm Maiden. Tasha tries and fails to change the subject.
Stein, Egil's son, found the shard Tasha had thrown overboard and disappeared. He took it to Schild and Tasha was the last to see him before he disappeared out that way. There's another missing piece. Someone else is probably looking for it, too.
Cali asks where to find T'kari, and Tasha remembers Egil saying that the worst way to find her would be to look for her. Tasha "recommends" we find the rest of the shards and put it together, destroy it, or hide it. Tasha will draw us a map of the lighthouses with shards, so we can start to collect them. We'll stay in town for 3 days so Wulf can get his spear, and then we'll head off for the first lighthouse.
