Elector-Kingdom of Prussari

Prussar is the first kingdom of the Kasari Dominion, the Hozvereins the Elector-Princes of Prussari have been the Emperors of the Kasari Dominion for over a century and a half. Militarism dominates political and academic thinking and the whole culture of Elector-Kingdom of Prussari; and while the other Kasari kingdoms have armies it commonly said that in Prussar it is the army that has a kingdom.  


Prussar as a country is filled with flats lands which are divided between thick forests and fertile plains which are suited to the large-scale raising of wheat with these fertile lands know known as the bread basket of the Dominion. The Iron Range stands tall upon the country’s northern borders. The whole east of Prussar is dominated by the Rhiner River, along which the greatest port cities of Prussar are found, and the River itself serves as reliable, fastest, and safests transportation system within the Kasari Dominion.    

Level of Autonomy

Within the Kasari Dominion power is greatly decentralised, as the Holy Kasari Emperor is not an absolute ruler; they act as the primary arbiter within the judicial system, the ceremonial head of state, and only a member of the Council of Elector-Princes. Given the Holy Kasari Emperor is not considered the ruler of all provinces and Elector-Kingdoms, each has broad power to act autonomously and as a semi-sovereign entity. Given this they have their own set of laws and traditions, however, they must make some tributes to the Holy Kasari Emperor and in times of war must contribute to the Kasari Army, however each Elector-Kingdom retains command of its own forces.  

Race Relations

The racial relations of the Kasari Dominion are complex and based upon religious doctrine. The religion of the region following the Age of Blood was the Radiant Lady worshipped through the Church of the Eternal Flame, however the Kasari state intervene and caused a schism resulting in the creation of the Church of the Crimson Flame created; the deviations being on the nature of the races. As a result racial relations towards nonhumans in the Kasari Dominion can be broadly positive, while discrimination does exists it mostly casual lacking venom, legal discimnation, and violence; however, this is only the case when nonhumans embrace and accept the culture of the Kasari Dominon, and the religion of the Crimson Flame. Those who do not are subject to violent and legal discrimination, similar to that experienced in other kingdoms.  

Views on Arcane Magic

The Kasari Dominion has amongst the worst outlooks upon magic and mages of Human kingdoms. The Kingdom proclaims that magic is the most dangerous force in all of Runetalras, and has led to the greatest catastrophe in all of history, the Age of Blood. Magic is outlawed within the Kasari Dominion, all who are capable of casting it save for the priests of the Radiant Lady are condemned to among the worst Arcane Bastille in all of Runetalras.  


The Valtonic Order of Knights are the roots of the modern Kingdom of Prussari. The Valtonic Order ruled Prussar until late into the Age of Blood, where the nobles, guilds and merchants rebelled against the Order and the Hozollern family was installed as the monarchs of Prussar, The militarism of Prussar did not abate when the Valtonic Order was outed as rulers, nor did the Order leave Prussar they now served as an elite force of the Kingdom.   Under the Hozvereins dynasty Prussari territory was expanded, and large military, administrative, and legal systems were created; this allowed Prussar to became one of the greatest Kasari Kingdoms. With their officer and administrative class Prussar developed a high level of nationalism not seen throughout the Kasari lands until after the Kasari Wars of Unification.   As Prussar grew more powerful it repeatedly came into conflict with Östersar, over which Kingdom would have a greater economic, cultural, and religious influence over the other Kasari Kingdoms. It was only with the Fall of Oxengrad that the two were able to put their differences aside to create the Kasari Dominion, and launched the Kasari Wars of Unification.   Prussar and its Minister President Otto von Schonmarck were instrumental to the development of the Kasari Wars of Unification and ultimately the creation of the Kasari State. Although it was not Prussar that took the reins of the Kasari Dominion initially, it took longer planning and politicking to put Elector-Kingdom of Prussari firmly at the head of the Kasari state.  


The Church of the Crimson Flame is the official religion of the Kasari Dominion and is the most popular religion of the kingdom. The Church is fully integrated into the state structure of the Kasari Dominion . The dogma of the Crimson Flame is based upon belief that the Radiant Lady is the only true faith. The Crimson Flame believe that arcane magic and mages are the greatest threat to all good people of the world, as mages have incredible power with little control; this is demonstrated in the numbers of mages practising forbidden magics, summoning of fiends, and creation of Weave Aberrations all of which wreak havoc and destruction upon the faithful.   Despite the illegality, there are other deities and faiths worshipped within the Kasari Dominion, some of these are the Seldarine is the most popular pantheon among forest gnomes and elves, and the Morndinsamman among dwarves and rock gnomes. Likewise the Draconic Pantheon are favoured among the draconic races.  


  The Prussari are a militaristic people, their dress is militaristic, as is their society, with the values of militarism as dominant, and it is said that Prussar is not a kingdom with an army, but an army with a kingdom. Prussar has extended its advanced administration and legal systems, a developed taxation system, extensive and loyal officer corps, a secret police force, and a feeling of nationalism among the small folk. The Prussari have enforced a system of guilds and schools throughout the Kasari Dominion, and respects the rights of the nonhumans.   The prussari are culturally utilitarian, the arts are designed to inspire nationalism, the bureaucracy calls for third sons of the nobility and have a wide reputation for efficiency, so much so efficiency has become a stereotype for the Prussari, and finally militarism is a tenant of Prussari culture and identity, it is in the military that a noble can gain glory and status, and a common suitability skilled can rise to the highest rank as the military in Prussari is virtually unique as a meritocracy. An additional feature of Prussari militarism are the Prussari virtues.   The Prussari virtues are virtues associated with the Kingdom of Prussari, they especially emphasise militarism and the ethical code of the Prussari army, but they also apply to wider Prussari society. Recently they have also influenced wider Kasari culture, leading to the stereotype of a Kasari typified as efficient, austerious, and disciplined.   The Prussari virtues are: Austerity, Courage, Determination, Discipline, Loyalty, and Obedience
