Channel of Ergensos
A small channel of water between the cities of Ergensos and Ceter. Beneath the channel lies the discovery (or rather, re-discovery) place of Illis Crystals, by Captain Illis, from whom they are so named in the current era.
Geography
The sea here is relatively calm, especially when compared to those beyond Ceter, as it is sheltered by the island upon which Ceter sits. The sea is still dangerous to those who are new to the area, particularly at night, giving rise to a number of local myths around nocturnal sea monsters. They are said to control the weather and waves, changing them in an instant and ripping apart ships with ease.
