The theme is Food. You must write an article on the template of your choice that primarily features a food and/or cuisine in your world, and submit it as a comment below.
This challenge is judged by me, Annie, Moonflower and Drackni Waterwisper A.K.A. DragonMagpie. To keep things fair, co-judges are not eligible to win prizes.

After all the pieces have been judged, an announcement will be made declaring the winners. Depending on how many people participate, I may also include some runner-ups.
Everyone who participates will win a digital download of the Food Flash Challenge exclusive bookmark, courtesy of Moonflower!

• Third Place will win a MS Paint illustration of questionable quality depicting their food, and a unique third place bookmark by Moonflower!
• Second Place will also win a MS Paint illustration of questionable quality depicting their food, and a unique second place bookmark by Moonflower!
• First Place will win a MS Paint illustration of questionable quality depicting their food, and another MS Paint Illustration of something else they choose in their world, and a unique first place bookmark by Moonflower! They also win an audio recording of their article by Drackni!

Criteria

All valid entries will be judged based on the following criteria;

• Creativity - Is it a inventive concept, or a particularly creative interpretation? Does the food tell us something interesting about the world, and the species who eats it?
• Versimilitude - Is the food believable? Does it make sense that the species would eat the food?
• Presentation - Is the article well structured? Is it easy to read? Is the food the focus of the article? Is context and related concepts presented clearly and succintly?

Things that will not count against you include but are not limited to minor typos and CSS theme (unless it makes your article unreadable).

Rules

1. Your article must be new. The creation date of your article must be 10th of August, 2021 or later. You may redate a stub article.
2. Your article must be public. If I can't read your article, I can't judge it.
3. Your article must be in English.
4. Your article must be at least 300 words (bb code not included), but no longer than 1500 words (bb code not included).
5. If your article contains themes people may find disturbing, please add a content warning to your submission.
6. No NSFW articles.
7. All submissions will be considered finished and judged as is. If your article isn't ready for judging do not submit it below.
8. Only one article may be submitted. If you wish to change your entry, please contact me on discord or leave a comment explicitly saying so and linking to your new entry.
9. Your article must be submitted before Sunday August 15th, 1 PM GMT +1.
10. Judges and Co-Judges are not eligible for first, second or third place.
