What is a Ruby Apple

A ruby apple is a red or dark pink fruit. It grows on the bloodred trees, the leaves and bark are dark red and even some are so dark that it looks a lot like black. Something not strange in the Black Grasslands.

Edible

The outside of the fruit is not edible, if somebody still wants to eat it they are dead in an hour, there is no cure. The inside of the fruit is filled with little red seeds. There are 200 seeds in the fruit, those are edible and the citizens of Moondoor are using the seeds in everything. In sauces, wine and even in sweets. But many eating just the seeds without anything.

Beef with ruby apple sauce

This dish is the most consumed dish in Moondoor, the children are begging for it and it is one of the easier recipe with the seeds.

Prepare the Ruby Apple

Cut open the Ruby apple with a silver knife with a fluoride hilt.
Get out the seeds and put them in a grinder, stamp with the mortar the seeds to a pulp.
When the seeds are grinned, put a fine piece of cloth and bind it over a bowl.
Poor the grinned seeds over the cloth, give the liquid time to find its way through the cloth.
Push gently the rest of the liquid through the cloth and remove the cloth with the hard pieces of the seed from the bowl.

Prepare the sauce

Put the liquid of three ruby apples into a small pan and put the pan on the stove.
Add five large spoons of sugar to the liquid.
Stir the liquid until the sugar is dissolved.
Throw a bundle of black rose, rosemary and mint.
Let it boil for 15 minutes.
Get the pan of the stove and let it cool off.

Prepare the Beef

Take a well blood out piece of meat.
Make small cuts into the meat with a clean silver knife.
Rub the meat with a combination of rosemary and sapphire sea salt.
Put the rubbed in meat on a grill in the stove.
Give it three minutes, then take the beef out.
Let the beef rest for fifteen minutes, in that time you can prepare the sauce.

Prepare the plate

Cut the beef in slices and put it on a plate of your choosing.
Get the bundle of herbs out of sauce. Poor the sauce over the meat.
Time to eat.

Why it is called Ruby apple

The Apple got its name because of its seeds, they look like little rubies. Also, the woman who found the fruit was called Ruby. But that was purely coincidence.
