Nilrodhi

The Empire of Nilrodhi

The Empire of Nilrodhi was establish 1AU by Grand Chieftain Nork Blackfoot and the other Chieftains. They met in Ishtaden to come to an agreement to put an end of the century long hostilities and war. Now, all of the clans are united under a single banner with the clan Chieftain's being responsible for day to day business for their clan and reporting directly to Grand Chieftain Nork Blackfoot.

The Empire of Nilrodhi is rich in iron and copper ore. There are numerous mines dotted around Nilrodhi. Mining is the biggest industry in the Kingdom. Recently, Chieftain Vhib Lost Tooth, of The Lost Tooth Clan, has told Nork that his clan has discovered some type of air coming from the ground that has a strange smell. He tells Nork that when his researchers get close to it, their voice get high pitched and they fall to the ground laughing in fits.

The future of the Empire is uncertain, but there is hope that the Kobolds will become one of the most powerful Empire's in this new world.

Culture

Nilrodhin culture is a simple one. Since the fighting between the seven clans has stopped, and they have united to work with each other, the different cultures among the clans have meshed together. They scavenge ship wrecks that wash upon their shores to create things. You could see a hut that is inside of an old, dried out, ships hull. They have even been able to reproduce the cannons they find on the wrecked ships. Using the design of these cannons and having the best crafter in each clan study them, they have been able to reduce the size of them so that they fit comfortably in their hands and shoot tiny cannon balls at great speed. They call it the hand cannon.

Since united, they have excelled in being able to work together. Villages have greatly improved since the fighting has stopped. Buildings are being improved and homes are being repaired. They enjoy helping each other, and you will often find a group of Kobolds from different clans working together seamlessly. Their economy survives on trade mostly. They will trade goods and services and will occasionally offer gold coins as trade if they managed to scavenge any off of shipwrecks. The call to venture out into the world is seen as a dangerous mission. The Nilrodhin's have been so preoccupied with each other during the clan wars, that they do not know what is beyond their horizon.

Public Agenda

Nork Blackfoot knows that resources in their nation is limited. He is hoping that one of the adventuring parties will be able to find another place for his people to live. Everyone is aware that there are other's out there, but due to their wariness, contact has yet to be made. He is hoping that these parties will plant good seeds with the rest of the world and show them that the Nilrodhin's can be trusted. He understands that the rest of the world may be wary due to the past conflicts, but he hopes that the others in this world are friendly and understanding.
