Chieftain Sott Bronzefoot

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Sott Bronzefoot was born in the old world and was a close friend of Chieftain Yiltzak Blackfoot. They had known each other before Goddess Tikaletzia transported the kobolds to Nilrodhi. When Yiltzak Blackfoot was murdered by The Bitter Dagger Clan, it ignited a fuse within him. He immediately started to demand retaliation for the death of Yiltzak Blackfoot. He had a lot of supporters behind him also demanding retaliation.

When Qrap Blackfoot was named as Chieftain. Sott sat with him privately and discussed his demands. Qrap Blackfoot believed that they should continue living through the teaching of Yiltzak Blackfoot by pursuing peace. Sott then told Qrap that, in that case, he was taking his followers to form his own clan to seek revenge. Qrap wasn't happy, but he under stood that it would probably be best to maintain peace in the clan. He realized that if he forced Sott and his followers to stay, then they would likely forcibly split from the clan. Which is exactly is what Sott intended to do, but he was hoping and believed that Qrap would allow them to split. With approval from Qrap, Sott gathered his followers and informed them of the news. He told them that the Blackfoots would always be considered allies and friends of the Bronzefoots. They were not to be attacked, or hindered from visiting their territory. Qrap told The Blackfoot Clan the same.

Sott took his followers north and settled in unoccupied land neighboring the Blackfoots on the coast. There he established the village of Kidhale in year -91BU. He immediately began sending teams to search for mines nearby and setting up blacksmithing locations within the village. He ordered them to begin making weapons and armor for everyone. He setup training stations around the village for people to train with different types of weapons. Once enough weapons and armor were crafted, he setup different raiding parties. Their main focus was to cause as much havoc and chaos in Bitter Dagger territory, and to bring back food and materials they could use to make better weapons.

He led two raiding parties into the Bitter Dagger territory. They met some resistance on their way to Pinnahear, but they were able to push through without too many casualties. Once they crossed the Untz River, he gathered the raiders. He told them that he would be first in the charge and if anything were to happen to him, that each and every Chieftain after him were to also lead charges. He told his warriors that if their Chieftain wasn't willing to risk his life and face death, then neither should they. With that, he lead the charge into Pinnahear with rawring and cheering Bronzefoots close behind him pouring into the village. The raid was successful, but the Bronzefoots suffered a lot of losses. Sott survived the raid, but had a nasty cut across his chest. They returned to Kidhale to repair weapons and to rebuild their forces.

Sott resigned from Chieftain in year -71BU after leading several successful raids against the Bitter Daggers.
