Kobold

The Kobold origins are mysterious and no single Kobold can precisely say how the Kobolds came to be in this world. Stories passed down by generations of elders are the same among the 7 clans. Legends tell that 42 Kobolds were teleported here by Goddess Tikaletzia. They say, that in their home world, that the Kobolds were being hunted by the other races and were close to extinction. This was because, as they say, that the Kobolds in that world got too greedy and wronged the other races. They said that they would sneak into cities and villages at night and steal things from them. When confronted, the Kobolds would lash out and would ultimately be chased off or slain. The legend says that the races in this other world grew tired of the nuisance the Kobold became and that some of the races began hunting them out and chasing them away. They say that there were some kingdoms that did not agree to this method and wanted to give the Kobolds a place of their own, but their few voices were out spoken by the voices of the many. The hunt went on, and the legend tells that Goddess Tikaletzia did not wish for the Kobolds to be slaughtered. So, she found a large enough group hiding in the mountains and pulled them into this new world and gave them Nilrodhi. The kobolds thanked her and praised her continuously for saving them.

These Kobolds set off to make this land their own. However, several were split on how they wanted live in this new world. Some wanted to continue the same practices as before, some wanted to recluse on this new land and not bother with anything outside. There were some that wanted to unite under one clan and grow into a functioning society, and others who believed it was best to dig tunnels and live underground as to not be discovered. Among these different thoughts and beliefs, the different groups split into four clans. It was peaceful for some time, the four clans were able to live separated with only a few minor conflicts. Then the four clans split into seven clans due to more disagreements on how the clans were being run. Some thought they could do better so they split away with a few followers and established their own clans. This led to more conflicts and bloodshed as the hatred grew among the clans. They distrusted each other and was always wary when coming upon a member from another clan.

This went on for 124 years, until Grand Chieftain Nork Blackfoot united all the clans together, under one banner. Now the future of the Kobolds rests in the hands of a few brave kobolds that were selected by Nork Blackfoot himself. Their mission is to explore this world to see what it has to offer and to attempt to forge alliances.
