Grand Chieftain

Title for the leader of Nilrodhi. Holds power over the country and works with the clan leaders to decide the next step for the country. The 7 Chieftain act as advisors and governors.


The Grand Chieftain is responsible for all Kobolds in Nilrodhi. The Grand Chieftain works closely with the other Chieftain's to help allocate resources for different projects. Ultimately, the Grand Chieftain has final say in all maters, but often leaves lower level clan issues to be resolved by that clan Chieftain unless specifically requested to be involved.

Requirements

Must have shown loyalty to all Kobold regardless of what clan they come from.
Leads by example by placing the needs of Nilrodhi first.

Shown the ability to work with Kobold of different clans and the ability to unite them

At least 30 years old

Appointment

The 7 Chieftain all nominate someone from their respective clans, it can be themselves, and then the nominees get asked a series of questions to judge their charisma. The nominees are then cut depending on well they answer the questions. The remaining nominees are then given a team of Kobolds with a task to accomplish. This can be anything from leading their team to attack a furious beast, building a bridge over one of the rivers, or retrieving something from the Creation Crater. The nominees that show they have the ability to lead effectively as well as caring for the fellow Kobolds from other clans will pass. From those that pass this task, the 7 Chiefs will then vote for which will take the position of Grand Chieftain.

Duties

To ensure that all Kobold , regardless of clan, are able to live together and work together.
To put the needs of Nilrodhi ahead of their own clan or any other clan
To promote unity among the clans.

Betraying the needs of Nilrodhi
Favoring one clan above another
Bringing harm or disgrace to Nilrodhi
