The Nightstar Clan
The Nightstar Clan was founded by Dar Nightstar during on year -124BU. Dar Nightstar formed the clan with the original Kobolds that were wanting to build a civilization underground to keep from being discovered and hunted by whatever inhabits the new world. Dar Nightstar was a natural leader. He lead his followers north of The Crater and founded the village of Durnork in year -124BU. It started as a normal village, but after several years it became larger underground. Dar Nightstar started work on tunneling and working to create an underground portion of the village. Once the underground portion was started, it quickly grew larger than the above ground portion of the village.
For much of the conflict, the Nightstar clan was notorious for launching night time raids against The Bitter Dagger Clan and The Swift Claw Clan. They attempted several raids against The Blackfoot Clan but after sustaining huge loses, they quickly refocused to the other clans. Their defense was their underground villages. Clans would raid their villages but the Nightstar were able to swiftly out maneuver them using their underground tunnels and pop out anywhere they wanted. This left the invaders surprised and confused and the Nightstar forces were quickly able to push them out.
The Nightstar were mostly night-time dwellers. They would come out from underground under the cover of darkness to move around above ground. They began to send spies to the other clans around Nilrodhi. They had spies in just about every clan, except for The Lost Tooth Clan. The jungles in the southern portion of Nilrodhi proved to be extremely difficult to navigate and the creatures were vicious. Using deception, their spies were able to feed information back to their Chieftain about what the other clans were up to. Their network of spies were their greatest defense. They would receive words of upcoming raids and preparations well in advance, allowing them to position themselves and wait. They did have a few spies that were caught and executed, but they were quickly replaced.
The Nightstar Clan had tunnels that lead to different locations throughout their territory. Once Pazi was founded, they even dug a tunnel from Durnork. There were residents that lived above ground in both of the villages, most of them worked the lake to catch fish. Though, there were some that lived above ground simply because they preferred it. This worked out great for the clan in general. When invaders would raid their villages, they would only be focused on the above ground portion. This allowed some of the above ground villagers to retreat underground as well as allow the underground forces to quickly surround the invaders.
