Sudri Nightstar took over as Chieftain of The Nightstar Clan in year -71 after Chieftain Orpi Nightstar resigned.
Sudri time as Chieftain was spent looking for a place to establish a new village. With The Nightstar Clan growing in size, he saw that it was time for them to expand into their territory. He sent a team of scouts to explore the area around Talos Lake to look for a good place to establish a new village. They were looking for a location with decent fertile ground, as well as stable ground to build underground. They spent a few years combing the area around Talos Lake looking for the perfect spot. The scouts finally found a suitable location. The ground was good enough to be used for farming and not too far underground was a large cavern so it would require little work.
They sent word back to Durnork to inform Sudri. Sudri was delighted with the news and led a few volunteers out to the new location to establish the new village. During his absence, he left the elders in charge of Durnork. If there was anything that required his attention, then they were to send word to him immediately. He set off with the volunteers to the new site. Once there, he named the town Pazi. He helped people get setup above ground and establishing farms. He then began to help out with the underground construction. He began to help dig tunnels from the large cavern, outwards to be used so people could dig out their homes from the sides of the tunnels. While he was working with a team, they were digging one of the tunnels from the main cavern. As they were chipping away at the rock and stone, the ground around them began to shake as large chunks of rocks began to fall. They tried to escape but they were quickly buried in the rubble.
Another team quick rushed over to their tunnel hearing the commotion and began to dig out the rubble. One of the five team members survived the collapse of the tunnel. He proclaimed that he owed his life to Chieftain Sudri. He said that Sudri had pushed him out of the way as the rocks began to fall. The last he saw was Sudri disappearing in a cloud of dust and rocks. When they cleared out the rubble, they found Sudri and the rest of the team members. They were all crushed to death by the falling rocks.
Chieftain Sudri died -60BU in the tunnel collapse. A statue of him stands in the village center of Pazi.
