Personal history
Orpi Nightstar took over as Chieftain of The Nightstar Clan after Chieftain Dar Nightstar resigned. He was also one of the first Kobolds to be born in Nilrodhi.
Orpi spent his time as Chieftain improving life for the Nightstars. He began the process of teaching the spies how to look for people in the clans they were spying on to recruit. He taught them to listen in the inn's and taverns for people who seemed fed up with the current clans leadership. He cautioned them on moving too early on these people and to instead wait for them to become more vocal. To wait for them to become more disillusioned. These would be valuable agents for them. He warned them not to contact them face to face, but to instead leave little notes for them and communicate with them through notes and letters. This would keep the spies identity a secret and allow them to get information from their contact.
This unfortunately did not work out the way Orpi was hoping. The spies used this new method, but those that were disillusioned were mostly those that were poor and honestly did not know anything about what the clan was doing. They were useless as forms of information, but several of the spies repurposed their contacts to pass messages along for them or to retrieve messages. It didn't work the way Orpi was hoping, but they were still good assets for the spies.
Orpi resigned from Chieftain in year -71BU. He died 13 years later while exploring the Nightstar territory at night. Stories are told that he died after he became lost in the desert, while others say that he was attacked by some large creature that roams the desert at night.
