Personal history
Yiltzak was one of the original 42 kobolds to be brought to this new world by Goddess Tikaletzia. Unfortunately, the kobolds aren't really good at keeping history. They preferred to pass down history lessons in the form of tales around campfires at night. This has lead to much confusion and discrepancies regarding the actual history of the kobolds.
One thing that most agree on is that Yiltzak was by far one of the wisest kobolds to have ever lived. He was the main one that pushed for the Kobolds to explore the new world and to make friends with its inhabitants. This naturally was pushed back against by those that wished to stay reclusive and keep to themselves as well as those who wanted to seek some sort of revenge.
Yiltzak was hurt when the kobolds split into different clans. He wanted to see the kobolds work together and unite with each other instead of being at odds. He led his followers away from the crater and founded Ashen Town as well as founding The Blackfoot Clan at the same time.
During his time as Chieftain, The Blackfoot Clan spent most of it's time making a home of Ashen Town. They were very peaceful and chose to stay out of the fighting among the other clans. The other Chieftains had a lot of respect for Yiltzak but saw him as being too soft.
The Chieftain Erto Bitter Dagger for The Bitter Dagger Clan sought out Yiltzak for an alliance. Yiltzak turned down the alliance saying that The Blackfoot Clan would not take sides and would continue to push for peace and reason.
Erto Bitter Dagger stormed out of Ashen Town enraged at the lack of action from Yiltzak. So after a few weeks, Erto sent one of his stealthiest clan members to assassinate Yiltzak. The assassin managed to infiltrate The Blackfoot Clan and caught Yiltzak in the market. The assassin stabbed Yiltzak several times with a poisoned dagger and attempted to flee but he was caught. Eventually he confessed that Erto had sent him to assassinate Yiltzak.
This caused great anger among all the clans, including within The Bitter Dagger Clan. Every clan condemned the actions of Erto and The Bitter Dagger Clan. The Blackfoot Clan mourned the loss of their leader and struggled as to what to do next. Some wanted to get revenge against The Bitter Dagger Clan while others wished to follow the actions of Yiltzak and remain neutral in the fighting. The clan split with those seeking revenge forming The Bronzefoot Clan while Qrap Blackfoot took over The Blackfoot Clan .
