Ihsu Swift Claw took over as Chieftain for The Swift Claw Clan after Haki Swift Claw resigned from the position in year -24.
After Chieftain Haki Swift Claw time leading The Swift Claw Clan, Ihsu wanted to bring some new things to his people. He wanted to give them something to be excited about and to be proud about. He spent the beginning of his time as Chieftain training the warriors and preparing them for a large attack on The Nightstar Clan. He wanted to take the town of Pazi and add it to The Swift Claw Clan territory. This would expand their territory and give them a village on Talos Lake. He spent a lot of time preparing for this raid.
In -19BU, he launched the first assault on Pazi. They were able to weaken the defenses and push into the city, but they were unable to hold it. The Nightstar Clan managed to push out the invaders, and they retreated back to Swift Claw territory. After a couple of years, Ihsu rebuilt his forces, and decided to launch another attack. This time he was going to personally lead them into battle. He traveled with his forces back to Pazi. He led the initial charge into the city managing to dodge the onslaught of arrows and traps that were setup. In the city, he engaged with the Nightstar defenders. Chaos broke out as the remainder of his forces rushed in behind him. The Swift Claws were out numbered and were quickly being surrounded. Ihsu wanted this city for his clan, badly. Instead of calling for a retreat, he ordered his forces to push deeper into the village.
They fought their way to the center of the village, but Ihsu was slain by a Nightstar defender. Upon Ihsu's death, the rest of his forces were quickly demoralized. They tried to retreat back to Swift Claw territory but only a few were able to make it back. Ihsu died year -17 after only 7 years as Chieftain.
