Deg Lost Tooth took over as Chieftain of The Lost Tooth Clan after Riks Lost Tooth resigned from the position.
Deg was much better suited for Chieftain compared to his predecessor. He spent much of his time improving the routes between the villages to make it a bit easier to travel. Others did not agree with this move fearing that one of the other clans would stumble across them and discover their location. They had enjoyed the years of peace and did not wish to see the conflict find them. Deg assured them that he would maintain their elusiveness.
While the routes were being improved, Deg took a team of explorers traveled east until he reached a the shore line. There he established the village of Rissrodkah in year -74BU. Once Rissrodkah was setup, he took another team and traveled west until he reached the western shoreline and established the village of Zalki in year -68BU.
He remained in Zalki as teams worked on making routes from the village to Nosru. At the same time, another team was completing the route from Rissrodkah to Nosru. After the routes were completed, Deg returned to Nosru and began to establish supply lines between the villages.
During his last year as Chieftain, he received word that one of the explorers had found an old abandoned ship wreck about 5 days north of Rissrodkah. He immediately took a small team with him to investigate. He was able to get some of his crafty followers to study the abandoned ship wreck and have them reproduce it on a smaller scale.
Sensing that he was about to be consumed with the idea of traveling the waters, he resigned from Chieftain in year -52BU. A year later the first vessel was produced. He took a small group of volunteers and set sail from Rissrodkah to explore the waters sailing northeastern. No one has heard anything from him or anyone on his voyage since. He is presumed to have died while sailing the waters.
