Chieftain Urka Bitter Dagger
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Urka took over as the Chieftain of The Bitter Dagger Clan after Huk Bitter Dagger was killed in battle.
He sought to learn from his predecessor's mistakes and instead focused on Bitter Dagger territory. He spent much of his time securing the borders and rebuilding. Under his leadership, the Bitter Dagger's gave up their pursuit of The Lost Tooth Clan. The hatred for them remained, but they were no longer the main focus.
Under Urka's leadership, the Bitter Daggers were able to focus on rebuilding themselves. During this time, they made great strides in advancement. Urka sent teams to search the territory for veins of metal. His teams discovered 3 different locations that contained iron, and another location that contained copper. He quickly establish mines and began to bring in iron ore and copper ore. This allowed the Bitter Daggers to make tools, weapons, and improve defenses.
There weren't many battles under Urka's leadership, other than the occasional raiding parties sent by other clan members. Urka spent a lot of his time visiting the mines, and overseeing construction projects. He was known to be kind but held high standards for all clan members. He took great pride in carrying the Bitter Dagger name and ordered that the clan banners be flown all over the land.
He resigned from the position of Chieftain at the age of 37. After 22 years of leading, he saw that his time was over. The Bitter Dagger's were in a better position, they were self sufficient, and they had established firm borders. He saw that it was time for someone else to step up and lead the Bitter Dagger's to greatness.
He died 30 years later due to a lung disease he contracted while spending so much time in the mines.
