Gren
Gren is a small village nestled against the banks of
Thaltz River. The village was established in year -65BU by Chieftain Drono Blackfoot. It was originally established as a mining village to work the nearby mines, but as people moved from Ashen Town it became more of a fishing town. Several of the residents still work in the mines, but most work Thaltz River to catch fish.
The village mostly survives off of the fish that are caught from Thaltz River. Some of the fishermen have crafted small boats so that they can traverse the river to bring in more fish. It is a relatively quiet village, and the villagers usually keep to themselves. They don't like living in the big city of Ashen Town as they see it as being too crowded and noisy. They prefer their quiet village next to the river.
It doesn't receive as much tourism as Taropool. The tourism they do receive are residents from The Bronzefoot Clan and The Sandstorm Clan as they pass through on their way to Taropool. They do not mind this as the travelers often bring interesting items and goods from their homelands to trade.

Residents of Gren were instrumental in building the aqueducts from Thaltz River and Jade Lake to Ashen Town. They provided the materials, the engineering plans, as well as the labor.
During the conflict, Gren did not see any assaults or raids from any other clans. The Bronzefoot Clan was the closest clan to them and luckily they were allied with the Blackfoot's throughout the entire conflict. There are instances where members of The Blackfoot Clan and The Bronzefoot Clan married and moved to Gren due to it's close location or to Cinderwick in the Bronzefoot territory.
