The Graven Deep

Situated in the north western reaches of The Known World, the Graven Deep is a wild, storm-ridden stretch of water that remains largely unmapped and unexplored.
Approach from the land of the Northern Reaches is difficult due to high cliffs and mountains, and the proximity of Farbarrow, and few have bothered to sail in it's icy, treacherous waters.
Several large land masses have been sighted around the sea, but they remain unexplored, and maps of the region are considered as rough guides at best, and completely inaccurate by most.
