Fil 'Vamel

Little is known about the ancient citadel of Fil 'Vamel, other than that told by myth and rumour.
All that has been seen of the ancient site is the top of a huge tower that reaches several hundred feet above the canopy at the heart of the Fearwyd Weald, and that only from afar. It is normally shrouded in a dark storm that seems to circulate around the pinnacle, though most scholars agree the place was probably originally built by the Antediluvians many millennia ago.
Whatever mysterious dread force lurks at the heart of the Fearwyd Weald, often referred to as the Nightshade Demesne, seems to be centred around Fil 'Vamel, though the nature of that power remains unknown.
