Endless Expanse
The Endless Expanse is one of the four oceans of Exorsia, located at the south of planet, beneath both the continents of Hepsut and Soliemia.
The Endless Expanse is a vast horizon of sea water, upon which are no known landmarks. The sea bed of the Endless Expanse plummets drastically, making the Endless Expanse the deepest point on Exorsia, though no one has ever successfully measured the exact depths.
The depths of the Endless Expanse are famously home to countless sea monsters, such as Kraken and Sea Serpents, with sailors telling tales of even more terrible threats that lurk in it's dark, lightless depths, Some rumours even claim that the Titan Ceto herself resides within the depths of the Endless Expanse, consuming all that delve too deep.
The hostile environment makes exploration incredibly difficult, even for Mages, and most sailors refuse to even sail on it's waters. While some Merfolk settlements are located within the Endless Expanse, with some of their number classified as a Deep Sea Merfolk, they are quite hostile to outsiders, and often live hidden away from the world.
